The Yellow House Bed & Breakfast is situated in the rolling foothills of the Pyrenees Mountains, 15 minutes outside the city of Pau. We offer 3 guest rooms including a family suite in our spacious, sunny house, Castel Forgues, a renovated 18th century stone house.
The beautiful views, the quiet and relaxed atmosphere, its beautiful and spacious rooms, its advantageous situation combining both a green environment and being close to Pau: there are many reasons why people like to come to the Yellow House B & B.
Families
For traveling families we have a comfortable family suite, equipped with toys and books for children of all ages as well as a cot upon request.

The family suite has one large bedroom with a queen size bed as well as a single bed, an en suite bathroom with a bath and separate shower . The adjoining but separate bedroom has two single beds, extra bed or cot may be added.
Tourists
For tourists we offer regional maps and information on the various activities available in this area. Our spacious and calm garden is ideal for quiet reading or a game of badminton. In the wintertime we offer a good base for skiers. We are 45 minutes away from Lourdes and 1 hour away from the ski pistes in Gourette.

For those who are tired of spending lots of their time in sterile hotels, the Yellow house B & B offers a warm alternative. We provide a home away from home. A good night of rest on our quality bedding and calm atmosphere will help your performance the next day. We speak French, English and Dutch.

The breakfasts:
Included in your room price, we serve two different kinds of breakfasts, "Traditional" and "Fitness." You can choose which one(s) you would like. We like to use local, fresh as well as organic products.
Traditional: orange juice, organic jam, butter, organic light wheat toast, coffee or tea.
Fitness: orange juice, Muesli with cold milk and/or organic plain yoghurt, seasonal fruit, coffee or tea.
You may order supplements (croissants, eggs, etc) to any of the standard breakfasts at a slight surcharge.
Your tray is delivered to the door of your room or on the sunny terrace.

Family suite price is based on 2 adults and 2 children. Extra beds are possible at surcharge.
We recommend that you rent a car for your own independence during your stay with us. It is possible to walk to nearby bus stops, however it is a 15 - 20 minute steep walk down hill (which then needs to be climbed upon your way back!).
